About Zenith water heaters

Zenith is a water heater manufacturer based in Ajman, producing heaters designed for UAE water and climate conditions. Because the brand is made locally and widely used in residential developments, many households and building managers have Zenith units installed, sometimes several in one property.

For questions about the manufacturer’s own warranty or product specifications, the manufacturer or the original seller is the right first contact. For repairs, replacements and new installations, we can help directly.

Electric storage water heaters

Domestic heaters for bathrooms and kitchens in a range of capacities, typically installed above false ceilings, in utility cupboards or on walls. They use an insulated tank, an immersion heating element, a thermostat and a safety valve. Tanks may be glass-lined steel protected by a magnesium anode, or stainless steel, depending on the model.

Central water heaters and calorifiers

Larger units supply several bathrooms in a villa, or serve apartments, hotels and commercial buildings. Calorifiers heat water through an internal coil from another heat source or with electric elements, and are used where hot water demand is high. Send us the model and capacity and we will confirm what we can do.

Solar water heaters

Zenith also produces solar water heating systems, from domestic sizes to large installations. These combine solar collectors with an insulated tank and electric backup. For a general guide to solar systems, sizes and types, see solar water heaters.

What we do for Zenith owners

Common faults on Zenith heaters

The faults below are typical of storage water heaters in UAE conditions; they are not specific defects of the brand.

No hot water. A burnt-out element, a failed thermostat, or a tripped safety cut-out are the usual causes. Check the heater’s wall switch and breaker first.

Heater trips the breaker or RCD. Usually a heating element with an earth fault, often accelerated by scale. A replacement element of the correct size, thread and rating for the model fixes it.

Lukewarm water or hot water runs out quickly. Scale on the element, sediment at the bottom of the tank, a thermostat set low, or a heater too small for the household.

Water from the safety valve. A few drips while heating can be normal. Constant flow suggests a faulty valve, overheating, or high inlet pressure.

Leak from the tank body. Usually internal corrosion, which cannot be reliably repaired. The heater should be replaced.

Rusty or smelly hot water. Often a depleted anode in a glass-lined tank. Replacing the anode early can extend the tank’s life; if corrosion is advanced, replacement is safer.

Solar systems not heating fully. Dusty or shaded collectors, an air lock, or a fault in the backup element or thermostat.

Finding your model details

Look for the rating plate on the side or front of the heater, or under the cover. It shows the model, capacity in litres, element rating, and usually a serial number or production date. On solar systems, it is usually on the roof tank.

A clear photo of this plate is the most useful thing you can send before a visit. Elements, thermostats, anodes and valves vary between models and capacities, and the plate tells us which parts fit.

Warranty and parts

If your Zenith heater is new, it may still be under the manufacturer’s warranty. Check your purchase documents and the seller’s or manufacturer’s procedure before arranging a repair, because work carried out elsewhere during the warranty period could affect a claim.

For heaters outside warranty, we source parts to suit the model. We use original manufacturer parts wherever available, and trusted, high-quality parts where appropriate. We keep commonly needed parts for Ariston, Zenith and Sundware in stock, so most repairs do not wait for parts. Availability can depend on the model. We tell you before starting if a part needs ordering. Our work carries a 1-month workmanship warranty, and new parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty, subject to the manufacturer’s terms.

Looking after a Zenith heater

  • Have the anode checked periodically, especially on glass-lined tanks
  • Keep the thermostat at a sensible setting rather than the maximum
  • Switch the heater off before long trips
  • Keep ceiling access panels clear so leaks are noticed and servicing is easy
  • If scale builds up quickly, consider a water softener

Zenith service across the UAE

We repair, install and supply Zenith water heaters in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. Our office is in Al Khabaisi, Dubai. Visits within Dubai are free; outside Dubai a AED 250 site-visit charge applies, which is fully deducted from the service cost if you go ahead. All visits are scheduled in advance.

Replacing a Zenith heater

When a Zenith tank is leaking through its body or badly corroded, replacement is the safe choice. You can replace it with a current Zenith model or another brand. Before replacement, we check the capacity needed, the space and access around the heater, the position of the water connections, the wall or ceiling fixing, and the electrical circuit rating. Heaters above false ceilings often need the access panel enlarged or the support brackets changed for a new model. The old heater is drained, removed and taken away, and the new one is filled, tested and set to a safe temperature.

Zenith heaters in apartment buildings

Because Zenith heaters are often fitted throughout residential developments, landlords and building managers may have many identical units of a similar age. When several fail in quick succession, it is worth planning ahead: stocking common parts, scheduling anode and element checks across all units, and budgeting for replacement as tanks approach the end of their life. We can set up a planned programme or include heaters in a maintenance contract.

Frequently asked questions

Are you Zenith’s official service centre?

No. We are an independent company that repairs, installs and supplies Zenith products. For warranty claims, check the manufacturer’s or seller’s process first.

Can you replace just the element on my Zenith heater?

Yes, in most models. A photo of the rating plate lets us bring a matching element.

My building has many Zenith heaters. Can you service them all?

Yes. For multiple units, a planned programme or a maintenance contract is usually the most efficient approach.

Can I replace my Zenith heater with another brand?

Yes. Dimensions and connection positions differ, so we check the space and pipework first.

Do you work on large Zenith central heaters?

Send us the model, capacity and a photo of the installation, and we will confirm whether we can help.

How long do Zenith heaters usually last?

It depends on water quality, usage and maintenance. Regular anode checks and descaling are the biggest factors in tank life.

Do you supply new Zenith heaters?

Yes. We can recommend a Zenith model for your space and household, supply it and install it.

Can you service Zenith solar systems too?

Yes. We repair and maintain Zenith solar water heaters as well as electric models.

What information do you need to quote for a Zenith repair?

The model and capacity from the rating plate, where the heater is installed, and a short description of the fault. Photos of the heater and the plate are ideal.
