Ariston is one of the most widely used water heating brands in the UAE, with electric storage heaters in many apartments and villas and solar water heaters on villa roofs. We supply, install and repair Ariston solar and electric water heaters for homes and buildings in all seven emirates.
We are an independent service company. We are not part of Ariston and are not acting on the manufacturer’s behalf.
The Ariston range we work with
Ariston solar water heaters
Ariston’s solar range includes thermosyphon systems, such as the Kairos Thermo family, in which a roof-mounted tank sits above flat-plate collectors and heated water rises into the tank without a pump. These systems come in several tank capacities for different household sizes and include an electric backup element for cloudy days and high demand.

For a general introduction to how solar water heaters work and how to size one, see solar water heaters.
Ariston electric water heaters
Ariston electric storage heaters are common in UAE apartments and villas, often installed above false ceilings or in utility cupboards. They range from small under-sink units to larger tanks for bathrooms and kitchens. Most use an enamelled steel tank protected by a magnesium anode, with an immersion element and thermostat.
What we do for Ariston owners
- Supply of new Ariston solar and electric water heaters, matched to your household and property.
- Installation and replacement, including removing old units and connecting into existing pipework. For solar systems, see solar water heater installation.
- Repair of Ariston solar systems (solar water heater repair) and electric heaters (water heater repair).
- Maintenance, including anode checks, descaling and valve testing. See solar water heater maintenance.

Common faults on Ariston water heaters
The faults below are typical of storage water heaters in UAE conditions generally; they are not specific defects of the brand.
No hot water. Usually a failed heating element, a faulty thermostat, or a tripped safety cut-out. On solar systems, the backup element is the usual suspect when water is cold in the evening or on overcast days.
Heater trips the electricity. An element whose sheath has failed leaks current to earth and trips the RCD. Scale accelerates this. The fix is normally a replacement element of the correct type and rating for the model.
Water dripping from the safety valve. A small discharge while heating can be normal; constant flow points to a faulty valve, high mains pressure or overheating.
Leak from the tank. A leak through the tank body usually means internal corrosion, often after the anode has been used up. The tank cannot be reliably repaired and should be replaced.
Lukewarm water or reduced capacity. Scale and sediment around the element and on the tank floor reduce efficiency.
Solar system underperforming. Dusty or shaded collectors, an air lock, or a failed non-return valve can stop the tank from reaching temperature.
Finding your model details
Before you contact us, look for the rating plate on the side of the tank or under the cover. It usually shows:
- the model name or code
- the tank capacity in litres
- the element power rating
- the serial number and sometimes the production date
For solar systems, the label is usually on the tank on the roof. A clear photo of this plate is the single most useful thing you can send. It tells us which elements, thermostats, anodes and valves fit, and whether the unit may still be under manufacturer warranty.
Warranty and parts
If your Ariston heater is new, it may still be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty terms and claim procedures are set by the manufacturer and the seller, so check your purchase documents first. Having a heater repaired outside the manufacturer’s channels during the warranty period could affect your claim; if you are unsure, ask the seller or manufacturer before booking a repair.
For heaters outside warranty, we source replacement parts to suit the model. We use original manufacturer parts wherever available, and trusted, high-quality parts where appropriate. We keep commonly needed parts for Ariston, Zenith and Sundware in stock, so most repairs do not wait for parts. Availability can depend on the model. We will tell you before starting work if a part needs ordering. Our work carries a 1-month workmanship warranty, and new parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty, subject to the manufacturer’s terms.
Choosing an Ariston system
When choosing a new Ariston water heater, the main decisions are:
- solar or electric, depending on roof access and how much hot water the household uses
- tank capacity, based on the number of people and bathrooms
- position, whether on the roof for thermosyphon solar, or a ceiling void or cupboard for electric units
- replacement or new installation, which affects pipework and electrical work
We can compare Ariston options with the other brands we supply, Zenith and Sundware, so you can choose on suitability rather than name alone.
Ariston service across the UAE
We supply, install and repair Ariston water heaters in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. Our office is in Al Khabaisi, Dubai. Visits within Dubai are free; outside Dubai a AED 250 site-visit charge applies, which is fully deducted from the service cost if you go ahead. All visits are scheduled in advance.
Looking after an Ariston water heater
A few simple habits extend the life of any storage water heater, including Ariston models:
- Have the anode checked periodically, more often if your water causes scale or the heater is several years old
- Test the safety valve occasionally, or ask for it to be checked during servicing
- Keep the thermostat at a sensible setting. Very high settings speed up scaling and wear
- Switch the heater off when away for long periods, and back on in good time before you return
- Keep the area around ceiling-mounted heaters accessible, so leaks are spotted and servicing is easy
- For solar systems, keep collectors clean and unshaded
Regular servicing is covered on our solar water heater maintenance page.
Replacing an Ariston heater
When an Ariston tank is leaking or badly corroded, replacement is the safe option. You can replace it with a current Ariston model or another brand. Points to check include the tank capacity, physical dimensions for the space available, the position of water connections, and the electrical rating of the circuit. For ceiling-mounted heaters, the supporting brackets and access panel also need to suit the new unit. We remove the old heater and connect the new one, then test it before leaving.

Are you an official Ariston service centre?
No. We are an independent company that supplies, installs and repairs Ariston products. For warranty claims, check the manufacturer’s or seller’s procedure first.
Can you replace just the element on my Ariston heater?
In most models, yes. The element must match the model’s fitting and power rating, so a photo of the rating plate helps.
My Ariston solar heater gives cold water in the evening. Why?
The backup element, its thermostat, or a heat-loss problem such as a faulty non-return valve are the most common causes.
Can I replace my old Ariston heater with a different brand?
Yes. Connections and dimensions vary, but most heaters can be replaced with another brand with minor pipework changes.
Do you service older Ariston models?
Usually, yes, subject to parts availability.
How long does an Ariston heater replacement take?
A like-for-like electric heater replacement is usually a short job. Solar tank replacements on a roof take longer, depending on access and lifting.
Can you install an Ariston solar system on a roof that already has an old tank?
Usually, yes. The old system is drained and removed, and the existing frame or pipework is reused only if it is sound and suits the new Ariston model.
Do you keep Ariston parts in stock?
We keep commonly needed parts for Ariston, Zenith and Sundware in stock, so most repairs do not wait for parts. Availability can depend on the model. If a part needs ordering, we tell you before starting the job.
